With the release of Kubuntu 18.04 she&#8217;s as good as new.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-1180 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/www.gedda.info\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/04\/old_pc_donate.jpg\" alt=\"Old PC\" width=\"586\" height=\"405\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.gedda.info\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/04\/old_pc_donate.jpg 586w, https:\/\/www.gedda.info\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/04\/old_pc_donate-300x207.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 586px) 100vw, 586px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Well, the USB Wi-Fi dongle and the keyboard and mouse are new, but everything else is pre-loved.<\/p>\n<p>I donated it to the local homeless shelter today where I trust it will be put to good use.<\/p>\n<p>My office is less cluttered and someone will experience Linux for the first (probably) time.
