Awesome stuff!<\/p>\n<p>A couple of things I noticed recently relate to notifications.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Discover, the KDE front-end to Flatpak, among other things, does not have a notification icon and the naming is inconsistent:<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<figure id=\"attachment_1227\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-1227\" style=\"width: 449px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-1227\" src=\"https:\/\/www.gedda.info\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/11\/Discover_icon_missing_names.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"449\" height=\"424\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.gedda.info\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/11\/Discover_icon_missing_names.jpg 449w, https:\/\/www.gedda.info\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/11\/Discover_icon_missing_names-300x283.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 449px) 100vw, 449px\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-1227\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Discover&#8217;s missing icon and inconsistent naming<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>If I were to offer a recommendation I&#8217;d say have the right-click entries as &#8220;<strong>Open Discover<\/strong>&#8220;, &#8220;<strong>See Updates<\/strong>&#8221; and &#8220;<strong>Configure Discover<\/strong>&#8220;. Once is enough.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Lastly, LibreOffice&#8217;s icons appear twice in the standard Plasma panel. Other KDE and non-KDE apps, like Firefox, display and underscore under their panel icon after being started.
