I’ve redesigned the front-end with the Nonzero theme and the old reliable for some new graphics.

I also had to do something about the terrible spam problem my blog had. Isn’t it shocking the amount of spam blogs get these days? I already had Akismet but all that seemed to do was slow the spam down by sending it all be moderated. Needing a more draconian method, I installed Peter Keung’s Custom Anti-Spam plugin for WordPress. The plugin generates a word in an image people need to manually enter before a comment will be accepted. I haven’t received one spam since it was installed so great stuff!

I still have a few more things to add, like feeds and static links. Perhaps I’ll try my hand at creating a few more swanky graphics, as well.

That reminds me, I forgot to change my voicemail to “I’m on holidays please don’t leave a message until I return in January” back in December… doh!

What better way to spend some of your holiday time than giving your blog a makeover.
