Gedda as the Americans would have it, or simply RJ for the intellectually challenged. That&#8217;s right, I rank right up there with the middle J greats, including:<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Homer_J_Simpson\">Homer J. Simpson<\/a><br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Rambo\">John J. Rambo<\/a><br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/D._J._Tanner\">D J. Tanner<\/a><br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Philip_J_Fry\">Philip J. Fry<\/a><br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Bullwinkle\">Bullwinkle J. Moose<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Why are so many fictional characters characterised by the middle initial J? Is it because the writers like the &#8220;good&#8221; sound of J in the middle?
