It&#8217;s almost like I never left. I&#8217;m here for <a href=\"http:\/\/www.cisco.com\">Cisco&#8217;s<\/a> annual Networkers conference.<\/p>\n<p>I checked into the <a href=\"http:\/\/marriott.com\/property\/propertypage\/OOLSP\">Marriott Surfers Paradise<\/a> and took a few snaps. I haven&#8217;t checked the broadband rates yet and am posting this over a 28k modem line *sigh*.<\/p>\n<p>Here&#8217;s the view from my rather-small-but-better-than-nothing balcony.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.gedda.info\/wp-content\/room_view1.jpg\" alt=\"room view 1\" \/><\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Here&#8217;s the view from my balcony facing East&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.gedda.info\/wp-content\/room_view2.jpg\" alt=\"room view 2\" \/><\/p>\n<p>This looks directly down to the man-made beach and swimming pool&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.gedda.info\/wp-content\/room_view3.jpg\" alt=\"room view 3\" \/><\/p>\n<p>I tell you it looks VERY inviting. I think I&#8217;ll go for a dip if I get the chance. This one was taken from the landing on the 15th floor&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.gedda.info\/wp-content\/room_view4.jpg\" alt=\"room view 4\" \/><\/p>\n<p>That&#8217;s looking south to the Surfers Paradise &#8216;city&#8217;.
