{"id":55,"date":"2005-10-04T21:36:40","date_gmt":"2005-10-04T11:36:40","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.gedda.info\/?p=55"},"modified":"2014-03-29T13:49:45","modified_gmt":"2014-03-29T03:49:45","slug":"more","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.gedda.info\/?p=55","title":{"rendered":"More  Gold Coast scenery"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Rather than post my random Gold Coast snaps from the two recent trips in separate blogs I&#8217;ve put together a collection of the best pics.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"jupiters casino day\" src=\"https:\/\/www.gedda.info\/wp-content\/jupiters_day_shot.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<p>This is quite a clear shot of the famous <a href=\"http:\/\/www.conrad.com.au\/jupiters\/default.htm\">Conrad Jupiters<\/a> hotel casino where I was staying for Tech.Ed. That was taken from the bridge connecting it with the new convention and exhibition centre.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>This is the exhibition centre from the same footbridge, just facing north.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"gold coast exhibition centre\" src=\"https:\/\/www.gedda.info\/wp-content\/gcoast_conf_centre.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<p>My room&#8217;s window at Jupiters was facing west, so unfortunately no Gold Coast skyscraper views but a good look into the backyards of houses with their own wharfs. There&#8217;s just something about being able to park your boat at the back of your house that really appeals to me.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"jupiters room view\" src=\"https:\/\/www.gedda.info\/wp-content\/jupiters_room_view.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<p>At Networkers I stayed at the Marriott which on the northern side of the Coast. In between Jupiters and the Marriott is the world&#8217;s tallest residential apartment building, dubbed Q One.
