{"id":97,"date":"2006-05-25T21:12:32","date_gmt":"2006-05-25T11:12:32","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.gedda.info\/?p=97"},"modified":"2014-03-29T13:19:41","modified_gmt":"2014-03-29T03:19:41","slug":"google-foodle","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.gedda.info\/?p=97","title":{"rendered":"Google foodle"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Okay, so everyone knows that Google opened its doors to the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.computerworld.com.au\/index.php?id=1206151020\">media<\/a> in Sydney last week, labelling the occasion as the &#8220;official&#8221; openining of Googleplex Sydney.<\/p>\n<p>Sure I was there but the stuff about Google Maps was old <a href=\"http:\/\/www.computerworld.com.au\/index.php?id=1401986683\">news<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"rodney gedda google\" src=\"https:\/\/www.gedda.info\/wp-content\/uploads\/2006\/05\/rodney_gedda_google.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<p>However, the most interesting part of the tour was the Google food. It tasted like Google &#8211; nice on the outside but far too sweet to be wholesome. I think I felt keywords jumping around in my stomach for at least 24 hours after eating Google food. I may well be searchable now. I&#8217;ve lost my innocence. Perhaps there&#8217;s a food API for Google Maps (finally, we&#8217;re on the map) that will locate any tasty morsel served by Google.<\/p>\n<p>There&#8217;s an idea for a new service &#8211; Google Foodle.
