About me

As you may have guessed, my name is Rodney Gedda – or more affectionately known as Rodders – and I’m a journalist.

I work for a really cool company, IDG (International Data Group) Australia, in the Sydney office. I’m a staff journalist for Computerworld magazine which is focused on all aspects of enterprise technology and IT management. As our tagline reads, we truly are “the voice of IT management”.

Computerworld is quite unique among Australian IT publications in that over the years all of its competitors have exited the market. Where there were once four or five enterprise IT weeklies, there is now one.

I started at IDG back in 2000 and have worked on numerous publications like PC World, Linuxworld, and our marketing portal, ITMarketer.
